MATHEMATICS ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT (OFA) - Students of Bachelor's Degree Courses in Biology of Human and Environmental Health and in Earth and Climate Dynamics - School of Science - A.Y. 2024/2025

1. How do I know if I have the ALR?
• Consider the results you got in the different sections of the English TOLC-I test you took to enroll at the University of Padua.
• Take the section of Sciences and divide by 10 the result you got.
• Sum to the result of point 2. with the full scores you got in the sections: Mathematics, Logic and Reading Comprehension (the maximum score one can get is
41)
• If the total you get from point 3 is greater or equal to 17 then you do not have the ALR, if it is smaller (from 16.99 down) then you have the ALR.

Students with OFA have to enroll in the online MooC course of Precalculus. To fulfill the OFA they have to complete the course, regardless of the results they get in the intermediate and final tes

They have to follow the steps below:
1 - Access the FutureLearn platform from here --> https://www.futurelearn.com/campus/university-of-padova with their single sign on account
2- Register for course:

        Precalculus: the mathematics of numbers, functions, and equations

By following these 2 steps they should be able to enroll in the Upgrade version of the course with the possibility of taking the final test and obtaining the final certificate.
