Chemistry
The degree in chemistry provides study in various subjects such as: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and various types of Chemistry (analytical, organic, natural, industrial, inorganic, organic).
Our goal is to ensure a solid base of scientific training and knowledge, both theoretical and practical, of modern chemistry in its core areas. With this degree you can enter directly into the working world or continue your studies with a master's degree or a doctorate.
Subjects of Study
Students will learn the fundamentals of this varied science, including modern techniques of synthesis and analysis, the use of cutting-edge scientific instrumentation, the scientific method, and rigorous approaches to various problems.
Teaching Methods
The chemistry degree provides theoretical lessons complemented by opportunities to perform exercises, with the guidance of teachers, that involve immediate practical application of the concepts taught in lectures.
Laboratory activity is varied and intense: students will become competent in modern experimental procedures and in the use of cutting-edge scientific instruments as well as computer resources. This laboratory experience is extremely useful for entering the working world.
From Bachelor to Master
- After the Bachelor degree, chemistry students can continue with:
- A 2nd level degree in Chemistry
- Graduate School in Molecular Sciences
- A Specialist Master’s Degree
