Museums & University Museum Centre's collections
Dates from the early nineteenth century and houses collections paletnologiche, osteological, ethnographic and oriental art.
Born as Herbarium in 1835, it retains today not only collections of dried plants, as well as algae, fungi, mosses, lichens, wood, seeds and fruits.
The collection of materials from the library of the former Department of Education Science and kindergartens, schools and universities (books, notebooks, photographs, toys, furniture) gave birth in 1993 to the Museum of Education.
Museum of Geology and Palaeontology
It houses a rich collection of rocks and fossils, mainly from Tre Venezie.
The “Enrico Bernardi” Museum of Machines
It houses memorabilia and instruments that show the evolution of engineering science, among them a three-wheeled car with a petrol engine of 1894.
It collects minerals divided into several collections: systematic, genetic, mineral deposits, thematic collections. The Gasser collection contains 2,600 specimens from Trentino Alto Adige and Tyrol.
Museum of Archaeological Sciences and Art
Born designed by Gio Ponti Palace Liviano; It includes three sections (collections of antiquities, material culture and plaster casts).
Museum of the History of Physics
It has a large collection of antique scientific instruments. The collection, linked to the prestigious past of the University scientific spans the centuries from the sixteenth to the twentieth.
Museum of Astronomical Instruments
It includes the Galileo telescope, still used for research, teaching and dissemination, which is supported by a collection of scientific instruments.
Educational Museum of Veterinary Medicine
The exhibits of the collection of eighteenth-century Vallisneri plus collections of nineteenth and twentieth century.
